Family Trees History

Family Trees, Genealogy Take Root at TreeX.com, Newly Launched Web Site

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) September 25, 2007 -- Keeping track of family history and genealogy has never been easier.

Announcing the launch of TreeX.com, a new Web site where relatives, friends or professional genealogists can work together or alone to help grow their family trees. Through this innovative Web-based building interface they easily construct family trees, keep track of family ancestry and post photographs and historical text.

The owner of the family tree can invite as many people as he wants to assist him in this effort. Trees are grown by inputting data directly to the site or by accessing computer files saved in the required GEDCOM format. Other information, photos and videos can also be inserted into the tree generically or for each member, improving quality and scope of the tree. Furthermore, a family tree can be kept confidential, set to public view or set to allow specified persons or relatives to access it -- and forums and user message boards have also been made available to make the exchange of information easier.

This means that the TreeX.com site can be used all over the world and, toward this end, translations are being made in several languages to create the most pleasing environment for visually appreciating family trees online as well as for data research in the field of Genealogy.

The site offers a choice between utilizing a free version of the service and a paid premium mode that provides additional options. Even choosing the free mode, the family tree can carry on being built without any limit of the number of members involved.

About TreeX.com and its founder:

TreeX.com launched on Sept. 17. Henrique Morize had the idea of creating a Web site to keep track of family ancestry three years ago when he decided to document his own family online. As the founder of TreeX.com he now hopes to bring genealogy and family heritage back to the lives of people around the world. His new site, TreeX.com allows those who sign up to create a family tree online and update it indefinitely by adding photos, date and videos or altering text and images. It also allows them to conduct searches of other family trees and utilize message boards to keep in touch with relatives and friends.

Morize developed the Web site, he said, with the help of Guilherme de Souza, a business partner he has been associated with since 1990 when they assembled and sold PCs together. Subsequently, in 1995, they turned their attention to the Internet, building Openlink, a company that turned to be the biggest access provider in Rio de Janeiro, where they were born and still live. In 1999 they sold Openlink to PSINET, an American company, and started up iKids, an online site that sells children's products. A few years later they sold iKids. Utilizing this accumulated Internet business background, they have since gone on to create MyFlog (www.MyFlog.com.br), a site that continues to operate to this day, and TreeX.com.

Searching Family Genealogy
Once I started digging into my family's history I was hooked. I started my search by talking to family members and was able to get a lot of information from them. My various family members had lots of important information they shared with me. I got lots of dates of birth, dates of death and marriage records. I was able to get copies of some old newspaper articles about my great-grandfather who was a prominent citizen in Michigan, but I wanted to know more. I took my search online.

Marriage Records: The best way to find court records when you don't have a lot of information to go on is to work with a professional service. Court marriage records pertain to all the files and documentation kept by a court before, during and after legal proceedings. It is usually the task of the court reporter to keep a faithful marriage record of what transpires during a session in court and it is from this transcript that court marriage records come about. Along with the transcript, other documentation is also included in court documents such as legal forms, evidence, and other related files.. As obvious as this may sound there are still many people who do not fully understand what the term public record entails.
